Crochet Club

The ladies of the Crochet group have been the main supplier of all the “Prayer Shawls” that were donated to parishioners who were admitted to the hospital or were recovering from a surgery at home.

The prayers shawls were a great tool to assure the person that prayers were being lifted up on their behalf by the parish of Saint Demetrios.

The prayer shawls also were a great reminder that the patients were not alone in their struggle, but were empowered and protected by the power of prayer on the path of healing.

The crochet group next plan of action is to make blanket to be distributed to the homeless through various homeless shelter during the winter to help protect them from the cold.

Please support the crochet group in this noble mission and enable them to make more prayer shawls, and blanket for the homeless by offering them a monetary donation, buying their products as a gift or by purchasing yarns for them. Thank you and God Bless.

For further information please contact Marie Consos or by calling the church office at 386-252-6012.

THANK YOU AND APPRECIATIONS

Dear Mary,

This past week Fr. Joseph stopped by our home in Atlanta to pray with our family pertaining to my cancer. I can’t begin to express what a surprise it was when he showed me your beautiful gift of your blue prayer shawl. I really haven’t had it off since he left. What a marvelous gift the Lord has given you. You will never know the hearts you touch.

Thank you for reaching out to me. It was God, Himself, working through you, that yet again, tells me He loves me. May the Lord bless you and the family you represent richly and without limit.

Cordially in Christ,
Steve
