Feast of Ascension – 2015

Dear YOUTH and all of YOU!

As we head into the summer months, many people turn their thoughts to vacations & relaxation, and away from Christ and His Church.  Let us instead use this time to follow the words of St Paul to the Thessalonians:

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

OCF – 1st 40 DAYS

We want to make sure that every student is given the opportunity to stay strong in their Orthodox faith during college. Through OCF’s First Forty Days Initiative, our local OCF student leaders, spiritual advisors, and lay coordinators introduce themselves to all new incoming students, making sure that they know about Orthodoxy on campus and nearby Orthodox parishes. These students also receive a summer mailing directly from the North American Office with information and materials to help them navigate their freshman year of college as Orthodox college students.

“Faith consists not only of being baptized in Christ, but also in fulfilling His commandments. Holy Baptism is perfect and gives us perfection, but does not make perfect those who do not follow the commandments.”

  – St. Mark the Ascetic

THIS YEAR at CAMP we will be studying the Commandments of God

Are YOU willing to ACCEPT the CHALLENGE and live a life devoted to Christ?!?
