Building & Grounds
Glory to God for his abundant blessings on his vineyard at Saint Demetrios parish.
Every day and in so many ways we experience God’s generosity and mercy among us.
It is with great joy that I share with all of you that the maintenance committee has informed the parish council that the construction permit needed for the restrooms renovation at the church hall has been issued by the city of Daytona Beach.
This important step paves the road for the chosen contactor to start the renovation work at the appointed time. Please keep the renovation team in your prayers so that all the remodeling work will finish according to the planned timetable.
On a different note, but related topic to the maintenance committee, a partial renovation project has started in the waiting room at the Sunday school area to update the look of the walls. Dean Karris has been working daily and very diligently on this project. The work at the Sunday school area is progressing very nicely. It is hoped that the new look will energize and inspire many other parishioners to take similar initiatives for the building up of Saint Demetrios parish. Keeping the life within the parish vibrant and energetic is needed by many other people who see Saint Demetrios parish as a beacon of light in their lives.
Please keep Dean, our contractor, the entire team of the maintenance committee, and eve-ryone else who is helping in other ways in your prayers, thanking God on their behalf and asking him to strengthen them to successfully finish the course.
